Oregon Wild Edibles ! was established to meet needs of the rapidly developing domestic interest in high quality fungi, and other wild edibles, from environmentally clean sources.

In Eugene, Oregon, we have the great fortune to be proximal to a cornocopia of top-quality foods, and to be associated with some of the best, dedicated, knowledgeable, and environmentally respectful wild harvestors in the country. Our friends' involvements in the industry date back to, and before, its blossoming in the early 1980s.

As soon as OWE! was launched, however, Oregon Truffles demanded all our attention.  Although rightfully a world-class gem, they had deservedly earned a poor reputation, due to rampant carelessness. Blessed with the trust of the handful of the most observant and intuitive Oregon trufflers, an unprecedented opportunity to pool their techniques led to the development of approaches and methods that enable every truffle we sell to provide a memorable culinary experience. From there, we are working on re-inventing the Oregon Truffle industry to rest on a foundation of environmental stewardship, and thus sustainability.

Although we still have our sights set on being able to offer a plethora of products, our offerings are currently limited to fresh Oregon Truffles in season, and frozen Oregon Truffles as our supply lasts through the year..
